Behind The Keyboard

I suppose a disclaimer might be appropriate, but I figure a name and a photo will suffice to know who to blame for what goes on here!

Who am I, you ask. Well my name is John Palmer and I'm an observer by nature. I'm also a head scratcher. That might be obvious from my picture, but really, I'm a questioner. I want to know why. I want to know why not. I want explanations, not spin. I believe in the power of a good question. I also believe you can often learn more from a good question than you can from the correct answer. I've also been blogging for 3 years, and provide content for a number of blogs currently.

OK, so you're confused, you think. Not really. I'm just insatiable in my curiousity. And I'm brash enough to ask a question that others would avoid. So, let's ask some questions about businesses. Businesses provide freedom to people. Or they should. Strong and vibrant businesses benefit families and communities. Let's look at the good and the bad.

My credentials. Well, you can learn a lot by asking questions, and getting answers. I have. I've also spent over 20 years in Media, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, and PR. I've created hundreds of advertising campaigns. I've worked with hundreds of businesses and business people. I understand what goes on behind the scenes, behind the camera, and behind the desk.

Don't worry, this blog won't be primarily dry analysis of economics or business structure. Like a good analyst, I plan to get beyond the facade and find the real issues behind it.

Let's "Analyze This" Business.
